Sunglasses?

Post by J.A.C.K.A » 18 May 04 1:19 pm

I have been browsing geocaching.com and noticed that some cache listings have a little pic of some sunglasses next to there location... Does anyone know what this is about?

That symbol means you are 'watching' the particular cache. You will get an email copy of any new logs posted to that cache. You can see a list of all the caches you are 'watching', and edit the lists, if you click on the 'Manage Watch Lists' link off your 'My Cache Page', or the 'Watchlist' link off your 'My Account Details' Page.

That means you have chosen to watch that cache.

It could also mean -

a. The Fonz placed the cache
b. The cache is in a "cool" spot
c. If you can't find this one you need glasses
d. Bring glasses - beer available at GZ

But possibly Maccamob and Gunn Parker were more correct.

Lost and Found.

We all lose stuff. However, sometimes you know where (approximately) you lose it Â…but you are never quite sure. I recently (like last week) lost my nice Bolle Sunnys near a cache (I think in Victoria). I had them tucked in my shirt, or over my head, and they must have fallen off when I looked under a bush or a logÂ…you know how it is. If anyone finds them, please, let me know. Not that I want them back or anythingÂ…Â…

Thanks in anticipation. Feel free to add here what you leave at a cache in the hope of getting it back!!

Clear skies. John, TeamAstro.
