Is there a way to get a locationless & virtual cache to be a DragonZone cache

Post by James0116 » 26 April 23 1:11 pm

Hi,

I have discovered a few locationless caches and virtual caches that don't have any DragonZone linking to them,

Is there a way to get them to be a DragonZone cache without being the owner of the cache?

Thanks

Hi James0116,

Only physical caches are part of the DragonZone (with the exception of Burke and Wills caches which can be physical or virtual).

There’s a bit of reading on the wiki on how it all works: https://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/DragonZone

Happy Caching!

TrigPoins are a special case in that there is a physical item at GZ and your photo in your log is proof of attendance.

Other non-physical caches such as locationless, virtual, history, geocacher, ephemeral aren't included because the dragonZone Guardian doesn't count them.
