I guess we could go and find some old statues or something, list them as virtual and put the placed date when the statue was erected

I am still getting for 'Find and log a geocache that has not been found in 120 days or more' can only be claimed against a geocache that has not been found in 120 calendar years or more.'

Re: 2017/2018 Summer Game
That's because Decrypter must have logged the find first (or since this issue cropped up) so it sees that log as being there. therefore the last time it was found was zero days ago. (Note: we don't log the TIME only the day a cache is logged. Someone can pip you to the post if they log it first!)Goldenwattle wrote:Still not working. Has another problem now.

Decrypter and I deleted our logs and then I relogged. Worked and I as able to log this for States of the Nation
Re: 2017/2018 Summer Game
A question regarding the finds. As more scavenges come on line, can we log them as long as we have found a qualifying cache during the game period.
In other words, if I log a locationless cache today, and it get added to the list next week, can I log it next week?

Point 4 of the rules states:
http://geocaching.com.au/dragonzone/gam ... fthenationStates of the Nation rules wrote:Geocaches you claim for find requirements must be found during the scavenge period. i.e. You cannot claim scavenges where you found the geocache prior to the scavenge commencement or after the scavenge conclusion.

LOL the oldest cache in South Australia http://geocaching.com.au/cache/tp2732 was a trig listed in 2009 and you can still get the FTF on it if you are willing to travel to the middle of outback Australia.......

The aspect for the South Australian-specific scavenge is elevation, not hidden date. Either way, that is definitely one difficult scavenge.parislaura wrote:LOL the oldest cache in South Australia http://geocaching.com.au/cache/tp2732 was a trig listed in 2009 and you can still get the FTF on it if you are willing to travel to the middle of outback Australia.......

Re: 2017/2018 Summer Game
Just logged 2 Victorian caches (I'm registered in NSW) and then saw the points earned in the "Claims" section.
Question though - How do I know if I have been awarded the additional 50% in points due to finding a cache outside my state?

At the bottom of the scavenges page are how the points are calculated. If you work out what you would normally have got for your find/hide you should be able to see if there is extra for the out of state.pprass wrote:Just logged 2 Victorian caches (I'm registered in NSW) and then saw the points earned in the "Claims" section.
