Claiming Badges

Is there something you need to tick to get some badges from dZ? I've found a traditional in Tassie but don't have that badge. Wondering if I need to do something to activate it.

Yes, trophies aren't awarded automatically.

Go to your trophy page
http://geocaching.com.au/cacher/trophies/fluffyfish/
and click on update on the upper left next to "Awarded".

I did this a couple of days ago and found a bunch of trophies I'd earnt but not claimed.

Do the trophies only count back to a certain date?
I've definitely found over 100 moveables, but haven't been awarded that trophy.

I've also found 8 GCA multi's, but haven't been awarded the "First Multi Find" trophy. The last GCA multi I found was in 2012 but that cache has been archived. The last GCA multi I found that is still active is GA2553 which I found 9/04/2011.

I've also found 7 Burke & Wills Virtuals and 1 Burke & Wills Traditional, but haven't been awarded the "First B&W Find" trophy; or the Victoria trophy.
I've found a GCA Traditional in South Australia, GA1267.

Lastly - with the trophies that require more than 1 cache, is it possible to see a progress bar of how many in that category I've found? So I know how many I need before I can claim the trophy?

Yes. They are dragonZone trophies and only start from the day you joined the dragonZone game.

As they are there for accruing points to dragonZone, allowing back dated trophies would not be fair and so a decision was made to allow them only after you had joined the game.

I like the progress bar concept or a "2/30 multis" view.

This is now the place to go to update your trophies and will now display counts of what you need to gain the trophy.
Enjoy.

Which date is the "Celebration Day : Geocaching in Australia Anniversary" attached to ... is it when GA0001 was published (29th Dec) or some other date?
