You are correct.
http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga10083.gmap
Turn on dragonZones.

The area you have placed the cache does not belong to a zone. In the real world this would mean that this location is not controlled by a local government area, but most likely a state or federal government department like roads or waterways.

Just noting a couple of spelling errors in the Christmas in July game info:
- In the registration part it says you'll be "promoted" to choose a clan instead of "prompted"... I assume;
- second last point at bottom of page says "arfe" instead of "are".
:)

I'm not sure if I have posted this in the right place. I originally posted it in the DZ Trophy section as I wasn't sure that it was a problem generally but may be just my miss interpretation of the trophy requirements.
A query re the latest trophy additions Weekend Traveller, Weeklong and Long Distance Traveller. I'm not sure I'm interpreting what is needed for these correctly. My trophy page shows:

Weekend Traveller
Move 25 moveable geocaches a distance greater than or equal to 250km and less than 500km.
25 to go.
Weeklong Traveller
Move 15 moveable geocaches a distance greater than or equal to 500km and less than 1,000km.
15 to go.
Long Distance Traveller
Move 10 moveable geocaches a distance greater than or equal to 1,000km.
10 to go.

We joined DZ early April 14 . On April 15 this year we moved GA4695 - Black Beauty 940.62 km so shouldn't my trophy page show at least one cache has been moved between 500 and 1000km and the to go should be 14?

Not sure if a bug. I thought with the current games lasting 25 days that I might be able to achieve this award

"Mini Streaker
250 Points
Find and log a valid dragonZone geocache on 30 consecutive days.
30 to go."

As I have found valid caches on each day of July to 5/7 shouldn't it say 25 to go? All the consecutive awards for me show the full number. I would have thought they would show less 5? They have in past weeks when I had a run of finds on consecutive days.

This reflects the fact that you have not yet logged a find for 6/7, so for all intents and purposes your streak has been broken. When you log today 6/7 it will count the current streak.

On Monday 10th July I was awarded "Limited Trophy - Christmas in July Finder" and the 100 points twice. I'm not complaining, but thought you'd like to know.

Hi
Just wondering about two things re My Dragon Zone
24 July 2017, I needed 20 points to go to Level 9, 25 July was awarded 250 points saw my advancement to that level but later in the day checked and now need over 200 points before being awarded that Level - I don't understand how this could have happened

I have been doing 75 word logs on my finds and only seem to be heading very slowly for the "Essay" trophy, thought my number to go should be less than it is

Cheers and thanks
OldSaint

Silver Dragon Zone Trophy
"An essay, just a plain old essay
Average 75 or more words per valid dragonZone geocache find log or did not find log excluding geocaches that you own.
18 to go."
I have been doing 75 word logs on my finds and only seem to be heading very slowly for the "Essay" trophy, thought my number to go should be less than it is:
Have made claims:
28 July - GA8251
27 July - GA10521
24 July - GA10574, GA10563
22 July - 5 finds;
all had logs of 75 words or a few more and I still have 18 finds to go
I am wondering why it is not lower?
Cheers and thanks OldSaint

This trophy is awarded when the average length of your find and DNF logs on all of your dZ geocaches reaches 75. Your statistic indicates that your average is 75 - 18 = 57 words long. You are short an average of 18 words per geocache, not 18 geocaches.

You have 426 finds on dZ geocaches.
http://geocaching.com.au/cacher/OldSain ... ypointsdz/

This one http://geocaching.com.au/log/15176264 is only 3 words long which means to get to 75 you need to have logs that are significantly longer than 75 words to counter the very short ones. Half a dozen 75 word logs will never breach that gap. You will need to be so much more expressive to increase your word count on average. Not only will you need to write a minimum of 75 word logs going forward you will need to add in some additional 7,668 words to cover the smaller average from the past.

Hence your logs needs to be come more like essays than "Found it " :-)

Or you could write 7,668 words on your next find

Out of interest, is there a character limit to the length of a log in GCA?
