The problem is in the external site didn't tell us where it was. I've forced an updated and it's now corrected.

I've added the capability to update the dragonZone if this happens again.
Under Actions on the side navigation bar you will see a link.
Update dragonZone
Click that it will be check the location of the cache lat/lon and place it in the appropriate dZ.

My nifty little dZ rank gauge isn't working. It got me right up to 100% okay, but when I reached the new rank yesterday it went straight to 38%. Shouldn't it read 0 or 1% progress? By my calculations that would mean I'll have jumped to the next rank by checking in today. Hahaha. Of course it hasn't changed from 38% though.

Thanks for the report. I've had all sorts of maths challenges with this one. Please check again.

Hi
Just noticed my dz meter has gone backwards. Yesterday it showed 81% and today I have 67%?

Yes, Black Bunny and me, too. I thought it was my bad memory, but I couldn't shake the feeling. Ours went from about 82% to around 73%, I think, but I can't be sure.

Our dragon zone meter has gone from 39% down to 15% and the arrow is now pointing straight down

Are all the new percentages correct or were the old ones correct?

I've checked the maths.

JAC is 73%
whitewebbs is 67%
sharnie's trive is 16% and as far as I can tell the arrow points the ocrrect direction.

Thanks for checking but that is a big backwards step for me. Oh well have to get out and find some more caches. Does the maths take into account all the trading cards I have bought which I thought accelerated the points to the next level?

Only a backwards step in that it was wrong and is now right.

What it does is claculate?

Top points of the rank you are current in = 866,200
Top point of the previous rank you were in = 546,800
The difference = 319,400
i.e. This is how many points you have in between your ranks.

Then take your total points = 761,9754.10
The top of your previous rank = 546,800
The difference = 215,175.10
i.e. This is how far beyond your previous rank you currently are.

Then it's a simple rounded percentage = 215,175.10 / 319,400 * 100 = 67%
i.e. From your last rank to the next rankl you are 67% of the way through.

As points are subject to multipliers and the cache size, difficulty, type, etc, there is no prediction of when you will hit the next rank, just that you have 33% of your current curent to go before you rank up.

Thanks for doing the checking, C@W! I appreciate that it must be hard work, and time consuming.

I am happy to go with the percentage that shows now. You should know, however, that last week my percentage said at least 83%. I think a bit more. It has been creeping up slowly from the time of my last 'promotion'. The only sudden change was last week.
