Seems we gain a couple and lose a couple. Mmmmm. Might have to hatch a plan to rectify that! Nice to see the ACT back under total control though! :cerberus :cerberus :cerberus

There was movement at the station as the word had got around that the Griffin Clan in Sydney got away. It was worth 1000 points. All the tried and noted cachers from the mountains near and far had gathered at a trig point over night, but the Cerberus Clan loves hard caching where the imaginary friends have been and the Sol de lune snuffed the battle with delight..........

Checking in with the clan. I'm only just getting the hang of this whole dragonZone thing after starting to tidy up the wiki (http://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/DragonZone). Strategy is not my strong suit and I'm pretty skinny on caches that count towards dZPoints, but I'll do what I can for the clan. :cerberus

Clan, I need your advice. I've picked up my first ever moveable and have the ability to move it into either an area controlled by another clan or one of two unclaimed areas. But being new to dragonZone and moveables, I'm not sure where the best placement would be in order to advance our cause. What alternatives should I be looking at?

I always struggle with this question myself and whatever I choose to do seems to get undone shortly after by other clans.

The other issue you have with Race Bingo is that it's the only cache controlling Rockdale so if you move it to another zone you'll just be swapping which zone it controls but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

I like to take control of uncontrolled zones when I can so I would either move it elsewhere in it's current zone or into another uncontrolled zone.

Thanks for the tips geo_jas. Didn't think about the precarious hold this one moveable had on Rockdale. I think I may have to place some hides to make things a little more interesting! Not even a trig in the whole LGA.

HIDE MOAR CACHES ! (So Griffin can get in on the act as well, Go, Go, Griffin!)

I'M WORKING ON IT. But so they're not just average hides placed for dragonZone purposes (although I wonder how that would mix things up?), I have to think (and prep) harder and my brain is not going there atm.

This week has been my first real contribution to Clan :cerberus, and even though I don't understand all the strategy, I've been able to capture an unclaimed zone by hiding a moveable, placed my first traditional GCA hide to try and secure another zone, and placed a moveable into a zone that I took a strong moveable out of (before I understood this whole points thing). Go Clan Cerberus!

Looks like Cerberus is now neck and neck with Minotaur for control of the country. Where to hit them next????

I have some plans for Sydney (placed another strategic cache for :cerberus last week), but it's gonna take some time to execute.

We have control of NSW, and by a good margin, however anything to increase our position in each zone can only be a good thing......
