Where are the various members of Griffin from? Wondering so that we can plan to take over the world easier... well, at least Australia.

Bendigo. We're off to the Mega and then we'll get busy.

Sweet. You can offset that Cerberus mob up there.

Friesianess and myself from the Tamar Valley, Tasmania. Bit too much bull about here so we thought we should introduce some royalty!

I'm on the northern side of Sydney. Not too many GCA caches up here though apart from trigs which I have mostly found, the easy to get ones anyway. There was a whole bunch of GCA caches near Pennant Hills but I found them all a couple of months ago.

Has anyone worked out how the point scoring etc works yet?

Well I found a GCA cache today so we now control a 2nd NSW zone (Hornsby council area). I was hoping to get a couple of trigs in the same area but ran out of time.

It seems half a point is available for visiting your owns dragon zone per day.

On observations to date, control of zones is based on finds. You find four caches in an area, score four. As far as DZ points go, with finds, it's the product of terrain and difficulty. Terrain 3, difficulty 2 = 2 x 3 = 6 DZ points.
My suspicion is that hides will be a product of terrain, difficulty and size. I've yet to place a hide to test this hypothesis so would be interested in feedback.
If you are not in Clan Griffin and have just read this, you are now obliged to kill yourself. Sorry I didn't place this warning at the start but I'll try to remember in future. Post a note here before you do the deed and we'll ensure there are some feathers on your grave.

Clan Griffin is only 4 zones from controlling Victoria.

Some of Clan Cerberus have been traveling across the state to / from the Mega in SA and they've been dropping new caches, controlling a zone with only a single cache hide. I'm going to try to get to some of the zones with only one cache as the controller and take it over.

I'm also looking at a strategy of hides. I have 20-30 ammo cans ready to go, but I lack the time to find a good area / zone to hide and control. I also have a plethora of micros which I'm going to try and control the Melbourne CBD with. They'll be moveables but only in the "Golden Mile", so they'll also keep people who work in the CBD busy during lunch times or when they just need to get out of the office for a while. I think that's a triple benefit.

Friesianess and I went for a bit of a drive to trial a strategy. I thought of it as teasing the Taurines but Friesianess preferred kicking Bovine butt . Either way, with a dozen or so cache finds, a couple of moveables and a few points, we took control of four zones. Tasmania has just changed allegiance, for the moment anyway. :D :griffin
