Longest non-visited cache...

Post by leek » 24 April 03 11:53 pm

For all the cache placers out there...

I was just wondering whose caches have not been visited for the longest...

Feel free to add a reply below if you have something special to mention, but otherwise add an entry in the poll below... My max at the moment is 110 days...

Drop Dead Gorgeous has not been done for 276 days. We also have Wonderful which has not been done for 450 days aprox but it has been disabled for about 60 days which still puts it a clear winner or loser . Depends how you look at it.

Last found....

I have two caches that are both over the 100 day mark at the moment, parasite #1, and swampviews. The count should of been three with Lake Lyell up there in the lead at over 150days but it was found recently saving me a cache check(fishing trip).
Well my previous statement has just been negated.......Parasite #1 was logged in the last few days, must give people a chance to get home and update their finds

It's been there for 482 days embi, but it was visited on July 14th 2002 (197 days), an unsuccessful visit I know, but it was a visit. ThomasS could see the cache, he could even smell the Kool Aid sachets inside the cache, he just couldn't get to it because of the climb, the very same climb that has stopped me from bothering to go for it :(

The offer is still open embi, if you ever make it down here I'll come with you on the 13km walk and give you a boost up when we get there :)

I recently found <A HREF='http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_de ... keyland, which had not been visited for nearly a year. Still in very good condition too. Strange that it hadn't been found, as it's not far from the centre of Shepparton, 5th largest city in Victoria.

Currently my longest is Springs Eternal at 153 days, followed by Alex the Sea Lion at 129 days and with only one find so far.

I know the owner of this cache and he placed it with my gps. He hasnt logged in for ages and probably wont. He only ever used my GPS and I doubt he will be back.
