My longest unfound has only been a lowly 70 days.

It's only a few kms from the Sydney CBD though.

Wow!!!! I thought we had one of the longer non found caches, but we're no where near it after reading some the posts.
When we hid our Carrington cache http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_de ... x?ID=26510 we expected lengthy periods of no activity.... I guess thats what you get when a cache requires specialised equipment..... A 50mtr abseil.

Now that Piggy and GeoCoopers have broken the drought at 'Benjamin's Horse', our longest unfound cache is now 'My My – Those Magnificent Men #1' at 158 days, followed by 'On The Nose' at 132 days.

Geocache No 1 GC124F and Geocache No 2 GC1250, They are hidden in the Avon Valley Western Australia and only accessible by a 4 wheel drive or a very keen bush walker. :)

Our Rotting Timbers cache has only been attempted and found once and that was 232 days ago.

We currently have 5 other caches which are located in the Pilbara WA which have not been attempted and most of these we dont expect to have many visitors. We placed them thinking that maybe a geo-tourist may be passing through and need a fix !! 8)

The reason I've not bothered to attempt this cache is because the last 4 finders have complained that WP1 is barely legible and that they had all sorts of problems working it out.

Hi
<p>
88 days - <a href="http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_de ... f">Outdoor Research @ Mt Randall</a>.
<p>
Not bad I reckon, considering I started geocaching in August 2004 :D

The culmination of the Sydney Happily Ever After cachefest has been sitting there, alone and forlorn for 526 days and counting.

All of the first round of caches are still available, so it's still possible to do it.
Some people have even done the hardest ones and only need to pick up some comparatively simple caches to get the magic words...

By comparison, the Sign of the Polar Bear here in Christchurch is a virtual cacher magnet, with only 385 days since its last find!

It's hard to find the cache GC2FCD Piggy's Remarcable Cache when it has been archived. Is it still there or not???
No wonder it was so hard to find by doing searches.
Can I log this cache just for being able to find it on GC.com? :lol: :shock:

May I humbly mention "Climb, climb, climb". Last found on 6/10/2.

As of today that is 818 days.

So far it has two finders. Last looked for 6/10/2.

Only a four hour walk for 360 degree views. :roll:
