Hardest terrain cache found while on WorkCover: 4.5
I slipped a disc at work, and the ER doctor advised me to stay up and keep moving in order to avoid developing chronic back pain. Over the next week, I cleared a radius of about 2km from home on foot. Then a new cache appeared on the side of a sugarloaf. It was a short walk from the carpark, but the last few metres were tough going. It was also my first FTF, and a difficulty 4 cache from a notorious puzzle master.

I've done about the same, a few years ago organised a 4WD trip up the Strezlecki Track to Innamincka and Coongie Lakes. The others along were cachers as well, but the FTF at Coongie (11 months old) was a bit of a goal. I got it as well, but I had read the hint and the others hadn't.Tuena wrote:The longest distance I've traveled for a FTF - 1200Ks (GC1DKJB Salt Caves).
Travelmate gives Glenelg to Innamincka as 1057km, Coongie is about 80km further on. With a few detours on the way would have easily made 1200.
Also once I had a Darwin break planned, and a new cache popped up a couple of days before I was leaving. Straight from the airport to the cache to claim it, then wrote the log as though that was the point of the trip from Adelaide
