Marcus Vitruvius Gets The Fastest 1000 in Aus
We have been watching some amazing numbers being found by M. V and started wondering what his tally was and how long it has taken. Well without putting a link to C @ W site, I can tell you that it has taken less than 6 months. Well done Marcus Vitruvius . Cheers from The Nanks

Congratulations
I have seen your logs all over Canberra and when I was visiting Geelong and Werribee we seemed to be following you just on your tail.
Amazing effort - now if I can just win powerball, ignore the family and take long service, I might take your example.
All the best, and glad that your personal circumstances allow this!

Wow. Thankyou very much for the kind words, and thanks to THENANKS for the thread. I must admit I have probably been caching a bit much lately, but when you love to do something it's hard to say no. I will probably slow down a bit now no doubt, as I wanted to get the 1000 out of the way, and probably knew about record when I was on about 500-600 finds.
I'm sure that the likes of dak and maccamob would own this record had there been the number of caches around when they started, but nonetheless, it's nice to have for a while.
Thanks again.
M.V.

Well Done Marcus. That is an amazing feat in 174 crowded days. (or just 83 as it appears) I'm sure your record will last for some time to come. Oenze and I enjoyed following you around canberra a few weeks back but since then we have slowed down but you obviously have not! Keep those numbers coming.
