Yep, we are aiming for the first weekend in January, 2009. We are in the process of firming up an exact date, but it will be within 2 weeks of that.

Once you have decided on a venue / location(s) the details would be good to assist determine the route and event equipment .... fly then walk ( or catch a bus) to "town"; hire a car ... or drive from Sydney to Melbourne then catch a boat.
If there is enough of us does jetstar or others do a package deal if we can get certain number of passengers ... or at least allow us to book well ahead in advance so we secure out seats?
