Waiting to hunt

Post by xusia » 23 September 07 12:27 pm

I noted that this select crowd bronze spoke about are allowed to complain about their day. Well, here's my rant. Have you ever got organised to go on a trip and made the mistake of inviting unpunctual friends? I am sitting here typing this waiting to go on a picnic/bushwalk/geocaching expedition and the invited friends still have not arrived more than one hour after the quoted time. Does anybody else have this problem? :-(

PS Watched "The Tomorrow People" as a kid and loved it. Used to dream of being able to "jaunt". Bronze I noted the screen grab at the beginning of this thread. Can you tell me where my GC nick (xusia) and avatar come from?

Cheers,
Xusia.

Using a smaller ball (6lb) with just a finger and thumb hole. Wellington won using a combination of bribery and points. Shame on you Pesky. Lets vote for a Image.

w00t! I'm too smart. Ooooh too many options, this placed him eighth for the year. So have the cows actually managed to adjust for all the Chuck Norris fans? Whistle blower, I too have learn't about spaces. Like this was called a fart. I'll be the only one able, the sun will come out. The latest thing in Geocaching. DIY cache containers.
Well done guys. The first five pages in the first five days. Well done guys and gals. And the best part is it makes no sense what so ever although if you read between the lines it's funny.

Xusia: Is it The Sword and The Sorcerer.

Feel free to have a rant but only the tomorrow people will listen and chances are that unless they know you or share a similar predicament they probably won't care. As I fit into the later of both I tend to re invite people and when they do turn up on time I answer the door in my boxers with a cup of tea in my hand.

Tell them "a pot has been poured, feel free to help yourself, I'm off to have a shower. Feel free to pack the car for me while you wait. We leave in an hour after the traffic dies down".

Knot Gillty- I'll edit mine if you edit yours. I can't edit quoted text so I'll change the original postings of your name and you can change the quoted text within your posts.

Go ahead and post Geocaching stuff. No restrictions other than that there is no topic so don't spit the dummy when the following posts don't pick up and run with it.

Beautiful Day here in Red Ochre Country.

Bronze: Yep - you got it. I'm also a nutcase about Doctor Who among other old TV shows.

Old TV?

Post by xusia » 23 September 07 11:10 pm

1963 - 2007: 44 years and still going strong. Pesky, I LOVE the new series of Doctor Who. Just because I'm from Queensland doesn't mean we don't get it up here. Heck, in summer time we even get it an hour earlier. :-)

While we're on the subject, here is a list of what's currently occupying space in my DVD shelves:

Dr Who holds pride of place
Then:

Battle of the Planets (traaaaaaansMUTE!)
Battlestar Galactica (the one with Lorne Green etc)
The Bill Seasons 1-5 (from the early 80s)
Blackadder
Blakes' 7
Buck Rogers
Cheers
Dukes of Hazzard
Fawlty Towers
Frasier
Futurama
The Goodies
MASH
Monkey
Red Dwarf
The Simpsons --- and heaps of movies from the 70s, 80s, 90s and the new millenium.

I've got another week off *bliss* :D

After spending a week in Paradise (the Whitsundays), I am trying to cope with Tassie weather. :(

Off to Haunting tonight!

And I've got a Geocaching Event to organise for the 7th.

I love my life! :D

I am also in hiding from uni work....how's your procrastination going Bronze?
