Bronze's international media appearance.

Post by Mr Emu » 18 August 07 3:59 pm

It's finally happened. The Bronze has appeared on the Cache-A-Maniacs podcast: http://www.cacheamaniacs.com/index.php?post_id=245442.

Apparently it was recorded 5 months ago, and I presume the delay was while they found a lexicon of Australian idioms to decipher some of the interview content .

A nice interview, and a good representation of Aussie cachers. Well done mate.

Yeah - So I have just been told via MSN. I had a look at the podcast page and I don't think the flatmate would be impressed with his dial up running for 3 and a 1/2 hours to download 36meg just to listen to me crap on.

Can't remember what I said so I'll have to download it at work tomorrow and have a listen myself.

There a nice bunch those guys. They had a bit of trouble interviewing me as the phone line kept dying and they would ring back and we'd keep going.

I'm about halfway through the show now and already I'm learning lots!

I never knew that us Aussies called paperless caching "Tech Caching"

I never knew that XXXX could be described as a "pretty good beer"

They only wrote XXXX on there because they weren't allowed to write CRAP!!

Nah, seriously, it was because they can't spell BEER.

Yeah. Us Queenslanders can't spell Bear after a few.

Coopers - I dunno Wibble but I will buy a six pack of each this weekend and get back to you. I can claim its all research.
