OT: online solutions to all AU puzzle caches

Post by Udderchaos » 31 July 07 11:10 pm

Well maybe not..........

but you can help our school to setup its special needs class

hello all

this is a bit off topic.... and I am not asking for money.

Basically the school my oldest child attend is setting up a special needs class for children with moderate disibilities. These kids are not disabled enough to require going to a special school, but have significant enough problems to warrant modified education in a normal school enviroment.

Most of the kids have some form of autism, but there are others with learning delays as well.

One of the mothers has applied to a womens online magazine for a grant to help the school provide some secure fencing as some of these kids tend to wander and its a huge concern to the parents & staff involved.

All I ask is that you visit this link
http://www.femail.com.au/cash-grant-finalists.htm
and vote for #5 Mt Gambier Nth Primary School Special Needs Division
(Voting buttons are right down the bottom).
Thankyou
Andrew

Hmm, pay for some kids to go to a dance competition (44%), or assist with special needs (15%). I see not everyone has been voting with their conscience.

Maddie teaches at a special needs school in Victoria so I get a good overview of the issues. You got our vote.

You got my vote!

Just a thought... If this topic was moved to General Chit-Chat you'd probably get a lot more votes going your way.

This is a good cause, certainly more than a dance class ? WTF?
Moved to General Chit Chat to get more coverage.

Click button "5" people.. You know you want too! :D

Will gladly help out anyway i can, Andrew. Knowing the issues you have in dealing with everyday tasks, it seems like a clear winner in my books. :P

BTW, do they log IP addresses?

yes they are logging IP's. you can only vote one time from each PC, unless you are on dialup and have a dynamic ip of course or like restarting your broadband modem.

I work with kids such as these on a daily basis. I fully understand the need to ensure their safety. You got THENANKS vote, but there are so many deserving charities out there aren't there?

You've got our vote as well. Piglet has an autism spectrum disorder....
