Why am I the only one brave (or silly) enough to post a pic ?
<br>
If I really must (and there is interest
) I could stand under the shower to get wet, put on the underwear and then stand at the door and let the wife take a picture - to share the picture of me coming home after my slide.

My "Schatz der Ritterbrucke Trolls" is specifically designed to get cachers wetter than they expect and has been quite successful.
Unfortunate lack of photos but the logs are usually amusing in winter.
Nothing quite like crotch deep icy cold water..

When finishing
Bodily Offerings in May for RDMH it was necessary to wade into the sea. I thought that I would only get wet to the thigh and was ready for that but on one step I plunged into the winter warm Derwent River up to well above the "twins".
You know when you suddenly drop into freezing water and you hear a high keening noise and then slowly realise that it's YOU making it?
No trousers on the drive home.

I ended up with water
well above the navel geting one waypoint at GC11H05. Glad the farmer didn't pass with a camera or I may have been able to log
that other cache
. Would hate to try it this weather

An expected wet. I thought I could walk all the way, but there was a bit more swimming than I expected as the tide was coming in!

For those thinking of supplies for a seagoing cache, the Sydney Gazette of 28 April 1810 had this advertisement.
28 April 1810
All Persons going to sea may be accommodated with 30 or 40 Pickled Tongues, from one to two Hundred Weight of Tripe, and a few rounds of Beef, all in excellent condition, by applying to J. Gandell, Butcher, Bell Row.
