Hi all, I know this topic may be in here somewhere, but rather than go trawling through the lot, I thought I would ask for peoples ideas on a geocaching kit - some suggestions on what to take on hunts would be great! Thanks, livandmez

I just keep a hat, sunnies, Leatherman, compass, pen, spare pen, the GPS and a small container of swaps in my backpack, which I take everywhere.
Sometimes I also throw in gloves and a torch. If I'm going caching, I usually take a water bottle as well.
I know some people take spares in case the cache needs maintenance, such as a spare container, ziplock bag, log book, but I've never quite gotten around to that myself.

I always carry a couple of spare batteries along with the rest of my stuff.
