I think most of the images come from http://worth1000.com , site that holds picture-manipulation contests.

Always worth a browse if you have time and bandwidth to waste!

Love this sort of stuff.

Some very clever pics.
Some you have to look close to see why its "different" but some are not well done but the imagination it takes to see something like an orange peel from a picture of a frog is incredible.

Some good work.
