New type of container?

Post by setsujoku » 12 June 07 5:31 pm

Have noticed that PK have brought out a new type of container for their chewies.

Has anyone looked at these for placing as a cache yet? not sure how they will hold up, but from a glance as i walked through the supermarket they looked like they could be ok

No, but as soon as Mama Bear saw the container for the test strips for my glucose meter, she thought the same as I had. "Oooh, that'd make a nice waterproof waypoint container!" (They're about the same size as 35mm film canister, but seem quite waterproof and are designed to be opened and closed lots of times (they hold 50 strips)

Talk to any diabetic muggles you know to get a supply (different meters have different strips/containers), mine are spoken for!

And what about the new m&m minis. Trouble with them is you have to hang on to the original container to win the site for the new "cacheland" theme park in Tasmania.

I've got a cache in one of those new PK containers. It's on a shelf in the supermarket.

I don't think anyone suspects a thing yet.

I fully agree, but using ammo cans for the waypoints of a multi seems like a bit of overkill...

The only thing that put me off it that they are $5 a pop, so for that you could get a decent size container that would qualify as a large

After visiting MtNanogambier on the weekend I no longer regard Eclipse mint containers or film canisters as micro.
1 nano in 900 finds is ok, 3 in 30 was way too much.
