I love the functionality of the middle mouse buton. If you have a scroll wheel type mouse with a "clickable" scroll wheel. Clicking on links opens in a new browser tab. Middle click on the tab again to close it.
Only way I usually come to the forum is via the "New Posts" link up on my tool bar. Then open the threads I want to read in a new tab.
Since I started using FireFox I have never looked back.

You just got to love the add-ons for Firefox. There are thousands to choose from. Some of the ones I use are:
AdBlock Plus
DownThemAll - Mass downloader foe Firefox
Google Bar
IE Tab - For those page that will only run in IE that you want to run in Firefox
Mouse Gestures - Mouse Gestures are a fast way to execute commands without using the keyboard.
........and lots more

Don't thank me. Thank the firefox developers. And as far as champions go the uptake of firefox as a web browser is likened to the challenge that Google made to Yahoo as a search provider.
Build it and they will come.

Is there another browser out there
I first started using NCSA Mosaic in 1995 (the first and only web browser at the time)!
I followed the developers of Mosaic through many versions of Netscape - first Navigator and then Communicator - followed by Mozilla and firefox.
In the background, microsoft missed the boat, tried to play catchup, but never have as far as I am concerned.
The product has a pretty good heritage.Bronze wrote: Thank the firefox developers.

What! XP has issues. I didn't get the memo. Went to Kubuntu instead.
Aussieraver. I didn't think people could show their age when referring to computers but I have been corrected. Enlightening.
Yes Shonky I trust it. More than those bloody hashed up maps that have just come on the market.
Cached: I think there is perhaps something Obsessive Compulsive about your list. You have to much of a yearning for information. I was glad to read Youtube. Maybe you use that for some fun. Type in 'Idiot'. There hours of viewing just under that title. No shortage of them. Just don't type in 'idiot motorbike'. Pretty grewsome. Especially the clown doing back flips on a quad into a skipbin or foam and misses landing upsidedown on the bobcat parked beside it. Ouch! If his spleen wasn't ruptured I'm sure he would have laughed about it.
