Where is GeoTalk?
Well you may not care, but if you do, I've been forced to take a break.
My iBook, which went in for a 'simple' repair, has been virtually destroyed by NextByte in Broadway. As you can guess, I'm not very happy with them. It's now back in the shop - somewhere else.
Anyway, given that I'm in New Zealand for the next few days, I'm not likely to work on it until I return on 26 March.
Sorry about the delay, but you're probably sick of me anyway.
BTW - ArgusTuft, got your voicemail and will contact when I return from NZ.

To bloody right -Spindoc Bob wrote:...you're probably sick of me anyway.
Sick of your excuses. I want more bloody episodes.
What with New Zealand? No computers over there?
Or,
Uh, that just sick

Thanks for the heads up Darren (That saves the everyday check to see if the latest episode is out yet!)
We really enjoy the programme and look forward to its' return.
I'm sure a short Hiatus will only serve to allow you to collect more info and ideas and we will end up with a fuller and slicker product as a result.
Thanks again and keep up the great work.

Sorry to hear about your ibook being out of action - I guess it shows how much we come to rely on them these days
But enough about you - what about the rest of us! We are ALL missing our Geotalk fix. That's much worse
No, really - I am definitely disappointed to be missing Geotalk this week! I have a long commute to work each day, and I've become a bit of a podcast addict, with a roughly planned "playlist". I enjoy listening to the weekly Podcacher podcast (maybe not for everyone), but I especially enjoy listening to your Aussie take on things (e.g. Episode 3 - the item about snakes was very relevant).
Enjoy your trip to NZ. We look forward to hearing Geotalk episode 10 soon.

Just spoke to big Daz and he learnin the ways of the Kiwi man. Bout to get off on some cache at Hokitika and he took the opportunity to run down some poor bastards computer store who is having a hard enough time stuffing other peoples computers.
He says he misses us and just wanted me to thank Mix for the loan of those velcro gloves. Dunno what thats all about, must be cold over there this time of year.
Sounds like he's in a shearing shed at the moment as it was hard to hear over the screaming women and sheep bleeting.
Anyhow - come back soon Daz. Miss ya Beaudiful.
Snap of Daz visiting GCNZ

Sorry to hear of your computer problems Darren. I can imagine how frustrated you must be! As a Geowife who hates the work involved in finding a cache , I actually do enjoy listening to GeoTalk so you are doing a fantastic job if you can get me to enjoy it! Loved how you put Mini-Mix's voice in recently. He walks around the house now saying "You are listening to GeoTalk. I am Mini-Mix hehehe"
