Try explaining this one to the wife when you get dropped home after work.
As a friend said, No need to go out and buy a lottery ticket thats for sure.
Could be grounds for a virtual. Hmmm gives me an idea for Red Ochre Weekend!

good driving
Crikey! That outcome was accidental How many of us have put ourselves in equally precarious positions when trying to find a cache I voluntarily did today... TWICE But that's just me
Come on fellow cachers... 'fess up

Another perspective on this rescue is that as far as can be seen, there is no vehicle stabilisation employed and no safety equipment attached to the rescuers.
This was discussed in an international rescue forum and the general consensus was that it is silly not to stabilise ANY vehicle first, then to walk around that area without travel restriction equipment is equally dangerous. Focusing on the patient can mean that your concern for the slight step behind you could be possibly overlooked

It's good to see that the Thunderbirds are still in action saving the world.Map Monkey wrote: This was discussed in an international rescue forum ...

I can see their point, Thunderbird 2 should have been up behind that railing with a cable down to the vehicle..
It would be quite a good scene with the vehicle balancing back and forth and the passengers saved just in time before the cable wears through and breaks..

Better not check out this archived cache of ours, then!astroboy1967 wrote:I think I just had a nerdgasm at the mention of the Thunderbirds
Errr Mr Tracy.......
I used to be a huge fan as a kid, and had a couple of the cheaper toys and the annual books. When I was setting up this cache, I needed to buy a complete set of the Thunderbirds for umm... research purposes!
Sometimes, Big Boy's Toys look very similar to Little Boy's Toys...

I had a tb/cache game all planned out based on the Thunderbirds, along similar lines of Leek's 5th Element. 5 caches one for each Thunderbird Vehicle and 5 TB's for each son, I even had an island location scouted out for Tracey Island Final cache location. Had the cache pages ready for submission, and then I had a change of heart on the whole GC.com cache listing thing.
Did I mention that I had a nearly whole set of the Thunderbirds DVD's as a prize for the first to find? I still haven't watched them, I think I am misssing DVD2.
