"Owned". It is a case of fat finger syndrome or too many fingers on keyboard error or the computer can't keep up with the speed of the person typing.

The word is rarely pronouned... more often it is written. Common pronunciations include owned, pawned and poned.

Teenagers (general users of 'pwned' etc) generally don't listen to each other, so I don't think it matters

If you think pwned is confusing, try this:

Translation: "I got a record, but then found it wasn't a record at all. i was pwned."

That Urbandictionary is useful, someone told me something was "munted" the other day and I had no idea what it meant!

I'll have to look up 1337 now.
