Interest in Annual Red Ochre Event (June Long Weekend)

Post by Bronze » 04 March 07 9:29 am

I'm not giving to much away just yet but we need to know what interest there is in the June Long weekend this year.
I.e. We need a minimum number and indication of experience level of those who might be attending.

Please indicate your interest.

EDIT: Image Replaced.
Image
...and no - this is not a hint. It's just your average teaparty.

This I can say:
Once again it will be much different to previous years. (Beni Trophy Challenge, Gold Rush and Mystery Mayhem Weekends)
The format will again be family orientated but also challenging for the die hards.
We still insist in making sure there is ample social opportunity.
It will not be a 3am micro-fest celebration.

This I can't say:
No one will go home a loser because Mix might be there.
People will be bored.
It won't be raining and / or cold.

Please complete the poll and post your intentions so the hosts can tweak their plans.

PS: an if you want to share your memories of previous Red Ochre event thats fine too.

I'm maybe definite (as opposed to a definite maybe"). The calander has beed maked since January and the family are aware that I won't be there that weekend so make their own plans ... but the unexpected can always occur.

So barring the unexpected, I'll be timely as always.

Sorry guys, I can't make it this year. O/S hols two weeks later makes it impractical.

Thanks for the years so far, and I'll keep my fingers crossed for 2008.

Plus, do you know how much crap I get here for never coming to the SA one?

Sounds almost like a plan. Was only pondering just yesterday if you guys were going to have anything on for the long weekend this year.

Will consult the result of Team Booted, including the Perth and Canberra branches of our organisation and will get back to you.

Other than that they may have been very concerned at your rapid weight gain (ie back left).

Work has had a bad habit of stealing all of my long weekends thus far this year. However, the fond memories of last year's Dubbo event are enough for me to fight for my liberty.

Hope to be there so Team Booted can once again come in and WIN!

I thought a little bit of nudity with some young ladies tastefully posing with cups and teapots would be good PR. However my wife thought "Sure as gods made little apples someone would be offended".

I swapped it for more a more politically correct (boring) image instead.
