We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves last year, even in the rain. :D

Perhaps you could give some details of what the Red Ochre event is and where it is usually held. This may help new cachers decide whether they wish to particpate.

For the Noobs and Dubbo Event virgins.....

The event is going to be held on the June LWE in Dubbo, central west NSW.

It will be a 24 hour caching event, yes, we participate in cache related activities for 24 hours straight. There is time for meals and socialising and the 24 hour thing is optional. We don't mind if you stop for sleep, you may be laughed and called all kinds of names, but we really don't mind.

It will be raining, well, if history is anything base it on it will anyway. So far we've been to two and it's rained at both. Dubbo has this weird weather patten, it rains for one week Feb/March and then for three days in June. lol

Mix may be there. You decide if that's good or bad.

You will have fun, or else!

As for the intricacies of this years event, we are meeting on Friday night to work out who what and where, there are ideas just no plans yet. You will know all the gory details soon. :)

Team Booya will more than likely make an appearence and will hopefully get a motel somehwere nearby, im sick of being to cold to sleep or cache, especially when we end up jumping in swimming pools for geocoins.

Okay, so we have some ideas. There will be an event page posted soon.

This not an event for those who take life or themselves seriously. We have put our evilist ROC minds together and have some purely devilish ideas and plans now. All I can say is, good luck! If you plan on coming alone to compete, try and hook up with at least one other cacher, they may come in handy.

Let see all the 'Do-Gooders' complain about the influence this will have on the "13 year olds and under" contingent in the forum.

How come you managed to lose the poll?

There is a reasonable chance that I may lift the tone of Dubbo again by gracing the town with my presence.
