A top effort.
I can appreciate the planning and effort required for a long day in the field. I'm wondering how many more were on the TO DO list that you didn't get time to attack.
Have a good sleep and we all look forward to reading the logs.

Heck - that means 1 find every 11.25 minutes (excluding DNF's). And if all 3 had to be together to register a find, that meant no running 160 metres to the next nearest one and have the car catch-up
Hope the doors on that hire car are still working

Actually I'm told that they ran out of caches on the to-do list with quite some time left... they then had to do some replanning on the fly, drive to another area altogether and get the last dozen or so.
Unbelievably all 3 of them are out caching again today too!

i just went out and did a handful of caches, and came across some stickers that they had printed up for the day. It was a great idea to do them, so that it can be clearly seen that they made it to that cache on the day of the challenge

That's a can o' worms. I don't like stickers. I know, they're faster and easier than writing in the log book, but part of hiding caches is to go back and read logs in the book. Especially when the log book is full and gets replaced. It's nice to have a sentence or two reflecting on what took place at the location. A sticker doesn't convey that same feeling of having a cache appreciated.
Still, a huge day, congratulations and I'll be looking forward to reading about in the online logs. It will be cool to see the times that each cache was visited and play virtual "follow the cacher".

Speechless.
I had one phone call from DAKS during the day (and a few update SMS's on request).
Funny thing, when he rang me he was outside a CIBO's. Wonder why
clear skies and well done. TeamAstro.

Great effort guys.
*blink* How many?

This boggles my mind. The most I've managed in a single day was 14.

How does one go about finding that many in a day? Are they all just REALLY close together and easy to find?

Queensland could host a record attempt... Rogainer and dtay got the record last year with 101 in a day & that was on their home turf in Queensland... i.e. they already had finds under their belt.
