It's in the stars.
Just wondering who it is that updates the stars under your avatar.
I used the link some time ago and requested an update but nothing happened.
Ive just requested a further one and still no luck.
Who's the star man and why is he holding out on us.

Yes I was receiving your requests but you were only requesting stars for 250 caches.
I wasn't holding out on you, you were submiting the wrong information.
I couldnt work out why you were asking for what you already had!!!

Oh dear! I dont know why this happened. The only way I could fix it was delete the stars and re-apply them.SNIFTER wrote:OH NO ...........Mine have gone......wimper wimper
Looks like you have added an extra h in http when addressing my star link.
That created another problem, everybody who has 350 caches found lost their stars and i cant remember who they all were to give them back!!!
I'm sure they will contact me..................

Hang on, I've worked it out. I have an add blocking program that also blocks the referrer field in HTTP requests. I just tried turning it off and the message went through. Is there some other way of working this so that the set up is not reliant on that field? Alternatively, adding something to the error message or the form saying that the referrer field is required may be an easier work around.

Blocking the referer field can stop access to a number of sites and posting on some forums.GeoQuacks wrote:Hang on, I've worked it out. I use the referer field to ensure the mail script is only called from one location. This stops spammers etc hijacking it.
I use spybot S&D and Spyware blaster as well as the popup stopper in the google toolbar.
have a read of http://www.aspplayground.net/forum/m_376238/tm.htm

It is written on the form that if you get an error, click on the treasure chest and follow instructions.. also send me a pm as I may not check the email I have given more than once a week..GeoQuacks wrote:Hang on, I've worked it out.
