Sure I know its American, but it starts with a GPS question, so thats something in its favour.

11 out of 18 for me.

Apparently i don't know what to do when a Black Bear attacks me and where those rattlesnakes live

16, with about 3 reasoned guesses :P

Ditto for me.
16 correct.
While my orienteering/camping/rogaining/hiking/scouting/geocaching background has obviously helped, I am likely to be killed by a black bear or fall into a rattlesnake den

I didn't do at all well and then I got bored as it got silly.

However due to the fact that I am a navigational gumby I wouldn't follow me anyway! Maybe I should try to put a quiz up - Survival Shopping.

Lets see these outdoor hero types manage taking a teenage boy shopping without buying anything black, trying to manage to get to the sale at the shoe shop and buying a new outfit and keeping it all withing the credit limit that is left on your credit card after Christmas!!

Rattlesnakes? Pussies in comparison!

5 to 10 Correct. You'd get lost on the back nine of a golf course.
9 - So much for Scouts! But then mayb if I was a US boyscout I'd have had a chance!

There's a reason I generally do 1/1 type caches :-)
That quiz proves it.

11 out of 18 mainly because of the American nature of some of the questions and oh, I disagreed with one or two answers :D

Of course the natural human reaction *is* to fight a bear to the death. :?

But only if they are made of chocolate and filled with caramel...

And yes I do realise that a koala is not a bear

A few too many of the questions had similar answers, where one was declared to be the "right" one, and a few questionable ones, and I only went as far as #9.

Both adult Cheesy Pigs did this quiz. One got 6, the other got 13.

Mrs CP would just like to add that she agrees with Aushiker - some of those answers are wrong! I certainly wouldn't want to bend a sapling over my thigh to cut it with a knife, as the thigh in question would be bleeding well before the sapling was.....

11 right. Not bad for a city slicker.

Must be all those hikes looking for tupperware. Haven't seen a bear or a rattler yet though.
