Oh dear....today a cacher...tomorrow nothing but black bear droppings
After being devoured by the bear, sitting on rattlers I struggled on (in spirit at least) to score 13. Just unlucky I guess
Survival Quiz
15 for me, I don't run into bears or rattlesnakes too often where I walk.
I would love to see a Tassie Tiger on one of my Tassie walks though,
That would be news. (Maybe next month???)
Biggest dangers I find in the scrub is entanglement with scrub and possible breaking a leg, or dislodging a loose boulder which falls on you.
Came close several times.

16, although if i come accross a bear and a rattlesnake in Aus I would be dead after fainting at the fact I just saw one. <p>
However when the GPS and compass failed and were lost, I would have resorted to more 2 spare compasses and 1 spare GPS. This was after I lit a fire with my flint stick and spare blowtorch (waterproof), while relaxing in my spare tent, powered by my generator that is powering my HF radio, sat phone, Plasma TV and surround sound system. Now I know why my backpack is so heavy
