<p>
I found this on a U.S. geocaching site, and I thought others might be interested.
<p>
A recent thread in the Geocaching.com forums has led to an easily created stats graphic to display your geocaching statistics. An example looks like this:
<p>
<img src="http://www.geocaching.com/stats/img.asp ... +Trash+Out">
<p>
It's easy to create your own graphic. You can read the forum posts about it at: http://forums.groundspeak.com/GC/index. ... opic=63613
or see below for instructions.
<p>
Cheers,

<b>How to create your own geocaching statistics graphic:</b>
<p>
Start with the following URL string: http://www.geocaching.com/stats/img.asp ... +Trash+Out
<p>
Get your uid#. You can find this number by clicking on the user name link in any of your own Geocaching.com logs. You'll find the uid value in the address bar of your browser.
<p>
Replace the text between uid= and &txt= in the above URL with your own uid#.
<p>
You can add your own pithy quote or saying by replacing the text in the above URL (after &txt=) with your own text. Replace any spaces in your text with the '+' character. Spaces are not allowed.
<p>
Copy and paste the final result into your browser address bar and view the results.
<p>
You can also add the stats graphic to your own geocaching web page by using the following code:
<p>
Code: Select all
<img src="http://www.geocaching.com/stats/img.aspx?uid=d11daeb3-415e-4e5e-bb63-722c9b9ae5b8&txt=I+practice+Cache+In+Trash+Out">
You can also add the graphic to your Geocaching.com profile page; just add the code to any of the free-form text fields on your profile page. You can check out how it looks on my profile page <a href="http://www.geocaching.com/profile/defau ... 3">here</a>.
