We have currently "closed" entries in the TB race as we have about 30 it seems.
Can all cachers please send in any racing bugs that we havent recieved yet, or notify us of their status..
If there is any spare spots we will make a notification on this board.
As a note the departure date has been extended somewhat, so time is not so tight anymore.

TP.

Umm, Not quite sure yet.
I ask everyone to be patient for a few days. i am snowed under at work and havent had a chance to look at them all yet.
(I do see someone's arrived in a normal envelope though ) mind you it has some "slight scuff marks !" I havent inspected inside yet !

That will be mine, unless those slight scuff marks are like a trian ran over it, it should be fine, I hope. I put in an item of some durability.

Piggy. Can I ask a favour? Could you take an image of my Travel Bug (What a Croc!), so I can post it on the bug page? There's a bag of truffles in it for you.

Hi All.
Just an update,

Yes, pictures will be done of all travel buggies for the race.

We have had some problems with the UK end of the race, Eg: They dont wish to be cooperative !
We have postponed the departure of the bugs a little, so they can arrive safely to a known point of call in the UK.
We will then be probably releasing them at the next UK get together event, so they all get an equal start in the race.

We are a bit snowed under with work at the moment, but will hopefully get a full listing and everything else done very soon.

Cheers.

Taking a lesson from the Australian release of the Dutch racers, I'd suggest noting which UK team gets which Aussie TB.

It could be a long wait. There's one in Scotland in May, and another sometime before September 50km from London.
Maybe we should send them to the Dutch racers.

Yes, I have contacted quite a few UK teams, and they really dont seem to want to play !
I am weighing up the options and we may change the starting point by a few kilometres ! (1000's maybe !).

Have you contacted Redshift? He sounded interested in it.

My Brother (OZGUFF) an avid USA cacher is going to the UK this week if you want I can post them over to him. He would love to release them into the wild.
