Should I admit that when we visited NSW, we did a cache called Dysticids, and I picked up a real fragipani there, and kept it in the car to smell as we cached? :?

Personally, I blame the owner of the cache....

For those that are in to this sort of thing....the meaning of the frangapani flower is 'shelter'....to expand...protection from evil.

Just a bit of useless trivia ;)

I've just been away on a weekend with 66 mums from our parenting forum and a few of them whinged about frangipanis on cars, apparently it's a very "bogan" thing to do, likewise is having loads of dolphin stuff in your house?

Get leid ?

I too have been observing the spread of this disturbing trend
These frangipanis are almost exculusively decorating the back windows of SUV's and any other boxy vehicle that handles like a wet sponge and is capable of holding at least 7 people
I think they are the new 'Volvos' as the drivers of these mobiles generally behave in complete contradiction to the normal rules of common sense or road rules :P Especially around school zones, where parking in the middle of the road seems to be the norm for the frangipani set.
So my guess is that it is a cult of parents who believe that for some reason that they are imparting supernatural powers to their kids by behaving like taxi drivers or maybe the 'Movementarians'
Anyone else got a theory ?

Ooooh, maybe they have Indigo Children (google it) - that might explain a lot.
