Put spoilers in white and name no cachenames
Wiki says:
Camouflage is the art of making a cache container look like either invisible or like something else. At it's simplest this might mean painting the container.
Paraphased from the wiki:
ideas:
• a fake object such as a fake rock
• a real rock to with a hollow compartment
• camouflaged to hide on man-made objects, like something that should be there.
• fabricating something like a fake fencepost.
• inside a ready made object that blends in, Like a sprinkler.
Love or hate the Camocache?
Is the reason we “hideÂâ€

Love them more than anything else.
My CCCC series is based on this very concept.
I love a cache hidden in plain view and recommend every one I find.

I enjoy them, the more creative they are or the effort involved makes me enjoy it much more,
although there needs to be enough details within the description to prevent other items, bush or parts of the structure from being damaged whilst cachers are searching for the sneaky cache

Funniest cammo we have seen on a cache was on one of Freddo's local caches. It looked like the kids were given free reign to glue all sorts of small plastic trees over the outside of the box. It did fit in well with the cache theme though. SA cachers Barry and Beryl have taken a liking to hiding some of their caches in pillow cases. I still get a laugh to read the opening statement of Nibs' log for one of B & B's caches
here.

I think the first job of the camo is to stop muggles from finding it. After that the camo job can be as devious as you want to frustrate your fellow cachers. I love the satisfaction of finally finding a well concealed cache, even though I may well have been cursing the hider for the last hour or so on the third visit!
But I have yet to see a lynch mob take on a particular devious cacher at an event

While most of mine don't rely particularly on camo to be out in the open, though I do have a couple in mind. I am sure they won't be as devious as many out there however.

Here's a few that I'm prepared to show the world, since they were only temporary!
I like creating and finding a well-camoed cache, not least because of the feeling of sneaky smugness that comes from knowing that lots and lots of muggles have looked directly at this thing and never twigged!

I found one recently in a hollowed out log. The log book had a note in from somebody 2 days earlier stating they had found it accidently while hunting firewood!

I've had one odd experience with camo.
It was a film canister with bark glued on very carefully and hidden in the tree the bark came from. The tree had various film canister sized holes and it was a truly evil hide being just above head level and blending in perfectly.
But over the period of a year it was 'muggled' four times. Although it was in a public park it wasn't visible from walkways and not near where balls are kicked.
In the end I came to conclusion that maybe birds or possums were knocking it out and then normal gardening or muggles were picking it up from the lawn. It's archived now as film canisters are getting rare!

It's because film cannisters are becoming rare, that I've started collecting small SD cards to use as cache hides

we have cammo'd for several reasons.
1. To place caches in public places out of muggles sight
2. To provide entertainment value on themed caches

shhhh, don't tell everyone
Edit: My boys have a Gameboy each and some of the games come in a little plastic container, I'd been nicking them and putting them aside also.

Yes...time for me to come out of the closest.
I confess....I love using camo on my hides.
I think I'm getting rocks down to a fine art ...among other things

I would have to say that your camo is some of the best I have seen. I like the fact of being able to say "If it was a snake it would have biten me"
