Top Aussie cachers

Post by pprass » 06 July 06 10:14 pm

Here is a rare situation. We managed to get the four top cachers in Aus together who as of today have a total of 9,256 caches amongst them. There were another two > 1,000 cache finders in the room at the time making a total of 12,028 finds from 6 teams. Go Victoria :D

Can you identify each of the cachers in this picture?

Let me guess, Mary and Diane are enjoying a glass of wine elsewhere in the room

The only one I know is Australia's Premier Cacher, maccamob, on the far right.

Correct! Just taken a few days before David & Mary headed off to the USA to keep the guy on David's far right at bay (oh and to visit their daughter  )

You folks will be pleased to hear yet another Macca has taken up caching - one of David's nieces in Sydney! That makes five macca teams ... <Count Von Count> Ahh, ahh, ahh!! </Count Von Count>

I was hoping no-one was going to notice that. It looks like the hosting site has other notices that revolve at random - just don't look at what it is offering NOW  You can blame dak for putting me onto this site. (he doesn't get on the forum so he won't know I dobbed him in  )

I know three of those faces, so by a process of elimination the furry one must be Muzza.

Less of a stranger now.

muzza has slipped to 5th, being overtaken by the "furry one" and his golden haired wife! So in straight talk - no, that is not muzza.

Coffee stage  This is my take as to what was going on - BB#2 was struggling to keep awake as she was fighting a cold and didn't realise that there was a photo opportunity, mrs. maccamob was grabbing the bottle of Mead that she discovered in Kapunda (we loved it as well - lots of cloves though!), dak was on his own, so no Emu Mob; mrs Team crackers was trying to keep up with mrs. Mr.Coffee and the Clan by wringing out the last of the Saltrams chardonnay.

ps: The Garner Family - this may give you a hint as to who was there!
