Russia and USA,
Diomede Island belongs to Russia
Little Diomede Island is USA

The islands are part of the Proposed Intercontinental Peace bridge strecthing from Russia to US via them...

Good enough (and I didn't know about the bridge). What else is interesting is that the islands, although only about three and a half kilometres apart, are seperated by the International Date Line. When viewing the other island from the one you are standing on, it is possible to look a day into the past or a day into the future. Of course, all depending upon which one you are on.

This is the Presidential Palace (white) and the Parlimentary Building (tan) in the capital of a country.

1. Name the capital
2. Name the country
3. Worldwide, more often than not, you will see the name of this country written on certain objects. Name the objects and why it is written there.

1. Monrovia
2. Liberia
3. Big boats - Monrovia is the home port of 10-15% of the world's merchant shipping, registered in Liberia under flag of convenienve arrangements. :D
Better get back to work now!

The ACT has a coastline. It has annexed part of the NSW coastline, specifically around Jervis Bay for that purpose...
