I knew it had to be somewhere near there. I knew I had been there. The wiggly road gave it away!! Not that I've travelled it. I spent four days walking into the 'city' only to have to walk down the hill the said road traverses. As for the town, it looks a bit battered and torn since I was there and caught the train to Puno.

First thoughts were a weapon firing range then a tank firing range. Now after closer inspection, it looks to be a huge antenna array - maybe part of the Jindalee OTH radar?
