What type of GPSr do you use for Geocaching?

We use a standard eTrex which now smells like Aeroguard, after a leak inside the caching pack! Does wonders for the glue that holds the rubber surround on

And of course we use rechargable batteries to be eco-friendly

I use a Garmin GPSMap60CS, which I am very happy with indeed. The mapping is very handy, and it's great for work too.

That poll has become a bit dated! I'm using a Magellan Meridian. Almost 2.5 years old but still going fine.

I used to use a Yellow Etrex but upgraded to a Garmin GPS MAP60 half way thru last year.

Garmins GPSmap60 isn't very old. I have only heard of them in the past year. This series has some of the more advanced features comparing it to the top of the range GPSmap76 unit. It also comes in a colour screen version and there is a Yellow GPS 60 which is very basic like the Yellow Etrex. But it is smaller and easier to hold but 1/2 the size bigger of an etrex unit.

Still using a garmin geko 201, as its origanal use before we learnt of caching was to plug into the laptop and point the 4wd in the right direction. Does every thing we ask of it and we have no plans to up date just yet.

We are using a Garmin Vista C atm and we love it! No probs, the base maps are a little out, but it gives you some idea of where you are. The colour screen is also a treat.

We use a Garmin Gecko 101 which we have been informed is the equivalent of a stone tablet with north written on the front.

We have recently added a ppc to the bag and we are now attempting to acquire maps, especially for a future trip to Sydney.
