Picnic Event - NSW Central Coast

Post by C.O.D » 06 March 06 8:30 pm

This is the first of what may well become an annual event on the Central Coast. It will be hosted by GIN51E and myself.

The Cash On Demand Picnic is an opportunity to meet up with other cachers to put faces to names, swap stories and do a little caching.

Katandra already has a few caches that will take you to some of Katandra Reserve's scenic places and an additional three caches will been hidden to give everyone a bit more fun on the run. There will also be an event log near the posted co-ords for any who find it to sign.

BYO everything (including Lunch) and meet at the posted Co-ords at 10:30 am on 25/3/05. There are also BBQ facilities if required.

Hope to see you all there :D :D :D :D

Most unfortunately IÂ’ll be in Hilldale (with the in-laws) that weekend and canÂ’t get out of it or IÂ’d be there for sure. Image

We considered this! :D Then we checked our diary :( The Prez is going to Bathurst on 25th and I am off to Lightning Ridge again on 26th. Sorry C.O.D. and GIN51E, The White House delegation can't make it. :( Damn diary, always messes up good plans!

Get a new one. It'll be empty so you can go to anything that comes up

Hmm, I might have to go with him then. :) There's a few we missed last time too. Don't know how much time we'll have though, The Prez has social plans.
Sorry C.O.D., we seem to have hijacked your thread!

I've added some maps to help cachers find the location. I'll be listing some caches for the event in the next few days (including some prizes). Stay tuned.

Just wanted to say thanks again for the great day. We enjoyed cateching up with a few local cachers and meeting some new (not to the sport but to us) ones.

The weather held out for what was a great event. Thanks to all cachers who turned up and made the event a success, especially those coming from far away. Was great to catch up with a few familiar faces and meet a few new ones. I can now say this will definately be an annual event so keep your eyes out for next year. A big thankyou to GIN51E, Pam and Mrs C.O.D for all their help with planning and on the day.
