Tea Advertising
Tea Advertising
Just wondering if anybody could help out with some research for an exhibition on tea, for the --spamremoved-- Chinese Cultural Centre.
As tea is one the most consumed beverage in the world, I am looking at how Tea has imbued itself into Australian society.
Therefore, I am seeking photographs, articles, advertisements, posters, etc, which has to do with advertising tea.
With photos, I am particularly looking at the signs which were painted onto the side of buildings.http://www.--spamremoved--.com.au
Edit by Mind Socket 3FEB06: removed the spam url to render it useless to the poster. Since everyone's had a good yarn since, I'll leave the rest of the thread. Maybe a few "friendly" PMs in this person's direction are warranted.

Go for it Bronze.
I know Mr Bronze could even calculate the amount of tea required, if requested. He can even take into account desired average concentrations, and random things like tea bag or tea leaf multiple uses. Jiggling frequency etc is even a trivial problem for The Bronze. Amazing. Maybe his Bronze complexion comes from some sort of weird tea leaf tanning technique. Will he let us in on his secret???
Clear skies,

I will have to have a look through my porn and see what I have I can send.
I think there are a few photos of me on a building.
Seriously though. It seem the guy hasn't had a good look at where he has landed before he posted his request. He must think mabey 'Geocaching' is perhaps an infusion technique and 'Muggles' are a set of cup larger than you average english china.
It certianly gave me more than a giggle that the word 'Tea' and 'Pots' has been bantered around here enough for us to show up on a google search.
Currently I an testing the four cup pot rate of cooling in 44 degree heat. Seem that living in hotter climates is an energy saving technique since the water is already halfway there when you turn the jug on. Those Taswegians are so inefficient when it come to boiling tea arn't they.

We'll read what you said after we've woken up fully - and after we have luxuriously stretched and turned the much needed air-con on .... oh, and of course after we have slipped, slopped and slapped.
Oooops, sorry .... just realised, this post is about 'TEA'??
Twinings Earl Grey Green please!
LOL - you got your bite!

I was always taught that you shouldn't use hot water to boil the kettle for tea - that it had to be cold.
Have you taken this into account with your brewing experiments?
Are you using randomized, replicable experiments, or observations?
I'd be interested in seeing the mean, SD and your figures to a 95% CI
Did I mention I have a statistics exam tomorrow? Aaaaarrgh ...going crazy...
