Fundamental Caching Laws of Nature
We all have certain rules of thumb in life. Caching is no different. I've called these "Fundamental Caching Laws of Nature", but they could be equally your everyday rules of thumb of caching.
Here are mine:
1. Don’t get too upset if you can’t find the cache if you are under pressure and in a rush. (still log a no find though – if I know I am in so much of a rush, I may refrain from looking even if it’s a drive by). Rushing never assists and normally results in a Bloke’s Look.
2. The Astro rating on a cache always increases by at least 1 (in D and T) at night.
3. Hint details required are inversely proportional to your search time. (ie it's nice to have more hints if you have less time)
Simple rules but I think they are “Fundamental Caching Laws Of NatureÂâ€

The pot is always blacker on the outside,
Leaves are better on the second infusion,
Brown sugar allows the taste of teas to strengthen more,
Milk must always go in at he very last,
Bags should always be unbleached,
Tapered cups rip you off,
Wax paper cups are better than unwaxed cups.
Did I do good master?
The Bronze.

Eric's corollary: The tree that the cache is in will be invisible at night.TeamAstro wrote: 2. The Astro rating on a cache always increases by at least 1 (in D and T) at night.

#5 The tree limb that you hide the cache in, on top of a mountain, to teach people to "notice out of the ordinary" or not natural things, get burnt beyond crisp in the first bushfires in decades....fehrgo wrote:Eric's corollary: The tree that the cache is in will be invisible at night.
Didn't find any remains, not even the lead from the pencil!
