well I'd say good for you in doing 500 in a week and i hope you enjoyed them all, the minority of those sort of events would be easy for admin to alter,

But we won't.

Geocaching Australia is free and open.

All cachers are welcome, regardless of where they find their caches.

The domain name does not restrict the site to cater only for resident Australians.

Then how about out of respect for the cache owner?
You're not required to submit your number of finds to our illustrious 'Stargiver'!! And I totally agree with you, it's not about the points! :)

However, I feel that 'geocaching courtesy' to the owner of a cache, is paramount! We wouldn't have a cache to find, if not for the 'cache owner' ..... some-one who has spent considerable time and effort in hiding 'said' cache for 'us' to find.

Even 'TNLNSL' ... just to say you'd been there, would be ok!

Comes down to time, I do 12-16 hour days 6 days a week on average.

My backlog is so huge I just never get around to it. I know of a number of other teams like this as well, one has over 700 backlog I think. Another has never logged a find!

Thats life! I try to log no finds or needs maintenance ones Asap though.

You have the time to look up the caches, the time to find them and the time to post comments on this forum but no time in the world to log them?

fair enough
