Geocaching Adoption Service
Occasionally users need to transfer ownership of their listings to other users. This is a handy utility for sending and receiving adoption requests and a way to help make the transition go smoothly for the new listing owner.

The best way to work out what it is is to play with it - its basically a community created reference work.

Those wanting to find it on the wiki can find it here
wiki link to cache adoption
or you could always use the link I posted above above!

If you are interested in the latest happenings in the community, check out the Geocaching Australia Newsletter.
No offence or criticism to EcoDave. I know how much of a PITA it is to edit a newsletter and chase people for material. I've done it for the League of Silent Flight and Neighbourhood Watch among others.
But the latest happenings in the GCA newsletter were apparently in March 2004!
I hope the wikimacallit is more up to date...

Had you tried the second link in my posting you would have arrived at the geocaching.com category page in the wiki and saved a lot of unnecessary searching.embi wrote:Geez it took me awhile but I did find it.
