The coins have managed to make it as far as Tassie - just collected ours from the mail. Many thanks for your efforts Darren. Now, can we bear to part with them?????

I've picked up a few things (like travel bugs) with notes attached saying to use this GEOCOIN tracking number to log the trackable.
I guess this way you get to keep the coin and can use its tracking number for whatever you feel like.

Dont know if this is ok or not though, but i guess its an option as i've noticed coins tend to walk a bit.

(I have no opinion on the above-just seen it done)

It seems I already have one :(

Off on a trip this weekend for a few weeks, so they will have to wait for a while.
Forever the optimist, I know they will be in safe hands and waiting for me when I return. That is of course if my daughter (Scary Spice) doesnÂ’t get her hands on them and decide to seed a few local caches with them.

There is an ongoing discussion on the US Groundspeak forum about this.
"Icon collecting" seems to be an obsession there that I hope we don't inherit.
And they have gatherings just to swap tracking numbers! YUK*&@!!

The idea of seeing a cache has a “geocoinÂâ€

They arrived today in little old Adelaide and they look fantastic. Thankyou Darren for all of your commitment & hardwork, you should feel very proud of the result.
When does planning begin for the 2007 edition...

Just a question for anyone who knows an answer,

Is it possible to see a list of all the activated Aussie coins on GC.com so we can see how many have been released and where they are?

There is no search option that I can see to search by the type of coin but if you search by 'Australia geocoin' in the keyword search you can see those that the owner has used those words for like Grank has.
