Getting Close (I hope)

Post by ADAcache » 10 December 05 6:01 pm

OK folks,

From the comments I think that the design for the back is pretty much locked in. (See my last post for an example).

here is an update for the front based on the latest poll results and replies.

Image

The platypus would have to be the second option, and if this works out would be the icon on the second version of the coin (I.E. 2007 coin).

Keep any comments coming and feel free to point out any issues (I am trying to confirm what GC.com require to be present for the use of trackable numbers).

Move the 2006 left and down a bit to better use the space, rather than arbirtrarily centereing at the top?

looking great... IMHO the southern cross and the more stylised Australia on the reverse are just the ticket

can we order yet?, can we order yet?, can we?, can we??? :D :D :D

I second an earlier post about restricting the inaugural issue to Australian geocachers.. seems like there is more than enough interest to fulfill a minimum qty run...

I agree, i would hate to not be able to purchase one due to overseas cachers buying them all.

I wonder if there would be enough interest for two runs at the same time - any 'anywhere in the world' issue anad the 'australia only' issue? Make far less aussie only ones (say a minimum run) and then they would be valuable straight up.

Dunno how to get the mail link to display properly though, you'll have to scroll up to ADAcache's last post...
