Recently Ozguff left the following post for the cache GCQ61R
I understand that it is entirely up to the cache owner's discretion to give permission to log a missing cache. But the way I see it is that I didn't find the cache so I didn't earn the smiley. If anyone wants to log any of my 376 hidden caches without signing any of the logs and without leaving the privacy of their own homes, feel free.

Check out the finds for this "SMART" guy

Hopefully OzGuff will delete all his logs.
And it should be noted that if you read OzGuff's full log, he said it in obvious sarcasm.

Hi
Seems someone did take it to the extreme.
Must admit I can understand his frustration at someone logging a find when the cache is missing.
That said, these guys have some impressive numbers.

Okay...I think Superman should NOT be allowed to cache. Someone hold him down while I take his GPS.

Fortunately both idiots are not in the Australia DB, so I don't care.
If something like this did happen in Oz, they would be added to the "Permenant Delete List" such that they wouldn't get imported in to my DB.
Both finder and hider would disappear for ever as far as I'm concerned.
What a pair of maroons

Ozguff does have caches in Queensland. That is how it came to light. The logs started showing up on GCA.

Well, whaddya know. I've even done two or three.
The number is not significant to make a spike, so I'll leave them be.
Still a pair of maroons though

Pesky has extended a similar invitation for his caches in the

P.s. anyone thinking of doing any of my caches and TNLNSL let me know I'll save you the effort and let you log a find without going there! I'd hate for you to go out of you way to "pay something back" to the sport you all say you love so much"

Once or twice is an accidental slip of the dropdown.
More than that and it end up looking suspect.

I Logged a Find On one local to me as I was Showing a Friend how the system works Which included logging the find
.As It was after dark in the middle of winter and this cache was close to the Highway
we went thru the motions with us getting to within a meter of the location of the cache (I had found it before it went missing) and I explained what to do It was also in the log what we had done

Just so people know if you log a find on a cache which shouldn't be a find, "i've done this when logging a DNF and wondered why my find count was high and noticed i had logged the DNF as a find" you can go back into the log and change it from a find to a DNF, note or whatever. so there is no reason to log a find by mistake and leave it there as it is easy to change, you can even delete your log if you wish.
