Seen the Christmas Shop? This is the Boxing Day version...
G'Day
There's a shop here in Chrischurch called "Plastic Box", which demanded a look-see!
There's all sorts of, well, plastic boxes, really...
This is a (crappy Palm camera) photo of one shelf. Gecacher heaven!

A GPS owning (but not geocaching) friend walked past as Hecta and I were stopped in the plastic container aisle in K-Mart on the weekend. He commented that he thought we were being very homely (esp with the geobaby on the way). Hecta explained that we were assessing Decor's new smaller range of containers for geocaching suitability.

I will have to dig out the piccies I got a few months ago in Hong Kong.
I found a shop in a little side lane on HK island that had "Lock-Lock" containers.
An imitation "Lock & Lock" Brand cache container in over 100 sizes up to 40 Litre
I was in heaven, And made Mrs Piggy angry about the amount of time I spent at the shop!
Price was the best thing, nothing over $4.00 Australian !! I grabbed a few, and they became my caches that i placed in Thailand and Hong kong.
A family member checked on them the other week (placed in Feb/Mar 2003), and they are all dry inside and happily standing up to the harsh Thailand climate.

There is a homewares shop in Kotara (Newcastle South) that has containers of all shapes but they too had astronomical prices. Novacastrian cacher will be please to know that The Bronze has progressed his cache choices to include water tight models!
