<font size="2" face="Arial" >Well Quasar, you beat me, I
went to London to do a cache, would of done more but was too busy
sightseeing with a friend. But I do think I win in the amount of time
taken to get to a cache, I spent 50plus hours riding in the back of a
C130H Hercules aircraft to get to the UK and then spent about the same
amount of time returning to Aus. If anyone here wants to know what the
noise is like in the back of a Hercules, only comparison I can give is to
stick your head in a concrete mixer with just gravel in it and turn it on
and stay there for a few hours.</font>

Furtherest South: Waterfall to hide a cache.
Furtherest North: The Hunter Valley (Pokolbin area) to find a couple of caches and get pissed ;)

I took almost 8 hours to do a round trip to find A-DAG. The funny thing was it was only 80km away from my starting point as the crow flies. Factor in the 10 hours it took to get to and from that starting point, that's 18 hours and about 1200 km.

When Team Uneven Distrubution went from Dubbo to do A-DAG, I think it took us the better part of 13 hours or so.

It was a long trip from Melbourne to Dubbo, 1,000kms give or take.

Luckily, we had regular rest, stretch and cache breaks along the way. 8)

It was a long trip from Melbourne to Dubbo, 1,000kms give or take.

Luckily, we had regular rest, stretch and cache breaks along the way. 8)
just to add to that, the 13 hours or so was one way and didnt include the extra 2 hour drive from dubbo to a-dag the following day. Well worth it though :D

417 km, as the crow flies. It ended up being a lot more by road.

What is the name of this cache? It sounds like one for the todo list.

Hi guys - new to the Australia forum.

Have just returned from Alaska where I dropped a couple of TB off in Anchorage -
K Bear - http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=57419
Murray - http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=57419

Found a number of caches along Inside Passage (was on a ship) and furthest cache North was to Nome, Alaska (nearly to the Arctic Circle).

Great Caching experience.

Vietnam is my limit so far. I think Hawaii will be further.

Why is the formatting of this thread all over the place?

Possibly an unmatched TABLE HTML code in the Dingbats post above that shifts all content into the post cell?
<br />
Let' see if we can find out which one :?

cheers Darren :)

Now that was weird ;)
But should be fine from here down; be very careful quoting fragments from the old ezyboard posts without closing off the table structures

The ELTHAM Mob went to China to cache (oh and visit my Dad), but really to cache  Managed to add 11475.9 miles for a travel bug.
