A Bronze Quiz

Post by Bronze » 15 June 05 5:00 pm

I had a couple of people on the weekend ask why don't you post your quiz anymore. Well the reason is that it's not Geocaching related but since there is some interest I will. I'm sure that if the powers that be disagree they will say so and cut my tea ration.

Image

How to Play:

(1) Don't post the answers - simply post that you have entered the quiz and that you have Emiled your answers to:

thebronzemailbox@yahoo.com

(2) Once you have Emailed your answers you cannot change them so check your answers before you send it. Only the first Email will be counted. The most correct answers wins.

(3) Only the first 6 responces will be counted and then the Quiz will be answered and another posted. So you gotta be in it to win it.

(4) The prize - satisfaction of learning 5 useless facts and the knowledge that may help you with a 5 difficulty mystery cache one day.

My answers are in - although I believe question 3 actually refers to a well-debunked myth. I may be wrong.

Take another look at the Snopes article. The "red spot" is discussed at the bottom.

The Results:

Good news and bad news.

Good News First

Well - I need to make harder quizzes cause everyone got 5 out of 5.

Bad News:
Toolkit - your not everyone. You came second with two wrong. 1b and 4. Well 4 might be right cause who knows what they put in lipstick but 1b was definately wrong.

Here were the answers - and there were a few too:

Question 1. This is a Simpsons take off of what famous painting?
A. What was its titles? The Scream or The Cry
B. Who was the original Artist? Edvard Munch
C. What style of Art did he influence. German Expressionism

Question 2. What meat group does MacDonalds in India not serve?
A. Beef

Question 3. Why is there a red spot on a 7UP label?
A. The inventor was an albino and had red eyes? Proven by Snoopes to be incorrect but I believed it of course.

Question 4. What strange ingredient is in most lipsticks?
A. Fish Scales, Cow Brains and Spinal Cord. Scales make irridecent lipstick, Brains and cord make it full and fatty and not rub off when kissing.

Question 5. WhatÂ’s the dot above an “iÂâ€
