I can almost believe this... I installed Firefox on my PC after recent discussions here and after a few days decided I didn't like it (too damned slow)...
I uninstalled it and that has seriously farked up my PC... I cannot open certain file types and browsing with IE has become very troublesome...
The only way I've managed to solve my probs is to re-install Firefox... Absolutely not ideal... Why did I ever doubt Microsoft??? If they have a lot to learn, the opposition has not yet begun to learn...

FIREFOX ROCKS!
It ain't slow either...I think your pc needs a few tweaks if you haven't run any spyware software.
I was a diehard IE fan but all that changed..the tabbed browsing alone saves me a load of time and some of the plugins are awesome..MS is rightfully worried.
Off to download lt snipers awesome looking plugin!
